A state panel today officially set the ballot for Wisconsin's Presidential Primary next year.
The 2008 Presidential Preference Committee is made up of legislators and party leaders. They unanimously approved the names of eight Republicans and eight Democrats, who will appear on the February 19th primary ballot.
State GOP Chairman Reince Priebus says it's a strong field for his party. He feels great about their chances in the upcoming races.
Democratic Chairman Joe Wineke says he feels the same way about his party. He says many national polls are showing Democrats with an advantage in many parts of the country.
Appearing on the ballot for Democrats will be Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama, and Bill Richardson.
Republicans will have Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, and Fred Thompson.
