Corey Pavin ended a 10-year drought on the PGA Tour, winning the 2006 U.S. Bank Championship by two shots over Madison's Jerry Kelly on Sunday. Pavin fired a bogey-free 67 to hold off Kelly. His 20-under par total tied a tournament record, and Pavin becomes the 8th two-time winner in Milwaukee. Pavin shot a 26 on the first 9-holes back on Thursday, a PGA Tour record. He took a 2-stroke lead into the final round, hitting 11 of 13 fairways and all 18 greens in regulation. Pavin also holed a 175-yard 6-iron from the fairway for an eagle on 8. Kelly finished 18-under for the tournament, 1-shot better then third place finisher Jeff Sluman (-17). The victory was worth $720,000, pushing Pavin's 2006 earnings to $1,189,051. It's the first time he's surpassed the $1-million mark since 1995.
