A report by the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance finds we're paying our state legislators pretty good money.

Alliance President Todd Berry says they get more than $47,000 a year in salary, plus $88 a day for expenses when they're in Madison on state business.

Berry says we're one of only 10 states with a so-called full time Legislature, which means high pay and more fringe benefits.

Wisconsin, with a population of 5.6 million, is the smallest state in the nation with a full-time Legislature.
