When Wily Peralta is on, he’s really been on.  But when the big right-handed pitcher is struggling to find his stuff, things really go south.

Sunday, Peralta struggled right from the beginning, his worst start in nearly a month and the result was a 9-1 Cincinnati victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.  Peralta gave up 8 hits and 7 earned runs while walking four in 4 1/3 innings.

Homer Bailey allowed 1 run and 3-hits in 8-innings for the Reds.  He improved to 8-10.  The Brewers managed just 4-hits for the game.  The only run came on a Khris Davis home run.

The Brewers open a 3-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals at Miller Park tonight.  The Cardinals start the day trailing Pittsburgh by 1-game for the Central Division lead.
