The Milwaukee Brewers were trying to sweep a series in Philadelphia for the first time ever.  Things looked good early, as the Brewers jumped out to a
3-0 lead on Phillies ace lefty Cliff Lee.

Prince Fielder stayed hot with three hits, a walk and 2 rbi’s.  Catcher Jonathan Lucroy also clubbed a solo homer to give the Brewers the 3-run cushion.

The Phillies didn’t panic though.  They started to peck away at Brewers lefty Chris Narveson.  After the Phillies put two runners on in the 6th, Placido Polanco clubbed a 3-run homer to tie the game at 3.

Shane Victorino then hit the tie-breaking home run off of Brandon Kinzler in the 8th to give the Phillies the win, salvaging the final game of the series.

Despite the loss, after the Brewers were swept in Washington, manager Ron Roenicke was happy the way his team responded against the Phillies.
