The UW-Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball team got their fifth consecutive win on Saturday night.  They took down the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames 53-47.

Despite leading for a majority of the first half, the Flames fought back and the teams went into half-time tied at 26.

The second half saw the Flames’ momentum continue, eventually leading the game 43-40 with just under five minutes to play.

UW-Green Bay had other plans as they scored the next seven points, and finished the game with a run of 13-4.

The Phoenix were led in scoring by junior Alec Brown who had 21 points on the night.

UW-Green Bay look to get their sixth consecutive win against Youngstown State Thursday night at home.
