The Green Bay Phoenix rebounded from Saturday’s loss at Cleveland State to knock off Wright State 71-58 in men’s Horizon League basketball action at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio.
It’s the 16th straight win for the Phoenix after suffering a regular-season defeat.
Green Bay improved to 7-2 in Horizon League play, moving back into a first-place tie with Cleveland State and Valparaiso with seven games left to play.
Senior forward Greg mays and freshman guard Daeshon Francis led five Phoenix players in double figures with 14-points each.
Green Bay returns to Horizon League play Thursday night at home against rival Milwaukee.
