The Green Bay Packers defensive line received some much needed news Wednesday as Ryan Pickett returned to the practice field.  Pickett has missed the last two games recovering from his second concussion of the season.

Pickett told reporters Wednesday that he was “out longer than expected” and that he “wanted to get back bad.”  However, he also knew that it was for the best that he sat.

In other injury news, TE Jermichael Finley sat out of practice after waking up with a sore knee.  It was not the knee he injured last season but still raised enough concern where his status for Sunday is up in the air.  It was also announced that WR Greg Jennings would miss his third straight game with a knee injury.

The Packers wrap up the regular season Sunday at Lambeau Field with the Detroit Lions.  Kickoff is set for noon.
