Here’s a new one for an insurance agent, “My car was hit by a couple of horses.” That was the deal for Assistant UW Hockey Coach Gary Shuchuk after two horses at the Kohl Center got spooked by a train on Tuesday afternoon, “I was in a meeting with Mike Eaves and Bill Butters and I happened to see these two horses run up the ramp in Lot #88 and I thought, that’s kind of weird. And then four minutes later, a guy came up to me and said my bumper got smashed and I didn’t think much of it until about the fourth person came up to me and said yeah, you car got…smoked ain’t the word for it.”

The horses belong to the UW Police and were part of the security detail for Tuesday’s rally with President Barack Obama. Shuchuk’s car wasn’t the only one damaged. The horses by the way, weren’t hurt.
