A grizzly discovery for Town of Geneva Highway Department workers.

Police say, while cutting grass along North Como Road early Thursday afternoon, workers found two suitcases in the long grass. They set the suitcases along the road while they worked and police later stopped to check inside of the luggage, discovering the remains of two bodies.

The Waukesha Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting autopsies Friday afternoon, with the hopes of identifying the individuals.

Police say citizens of the Town of Geneva can rest assured this is an isolated incident, and the crime did not occur where the bodies were located.
