Menasha police are recommending juvenile charges against a group of teens accused of convincing other students to send them racy pictures of themselves. Police chief Tim Styka says the boys pressured the girls for the pictures, and then posted the images on Instagram.
Styka is recommending child pornography possession charges against four boys. He’s also asking prosecutors to charge six girls with disorderly conduct. Styka says the account was password protected.
Police got involved in the case after a student reported the situation to a school official. Styka says investigators found more than 100 images of nude or partially nude students.
