A resurrected gang from Chicago that has relocated to Milwaukee is being named responsible for a shooting spree that left four people dead early on the 4th of July.

Police Chief Edward Flynn says the "Murder Mob" came to Milwaukee in the late 1990's. He says the gang is responsible for an estimated two dozen murders in the city in the past 10 years. Gunmen fired into a Milwaukee crowd of at least 100 people Friday. Flynn says two of those killed were members of a rival gang. The two other victims are believed to have been innocent bystanders.

Flynn calls the "Murder Mob" the most vicious and most aggressive gang on the city's north side, which causes residents to live daily in fear. The Chief says Milwaukee Police stepped up patrols will continue daily until they've have taken back the neighborhood.
