It's Election Day, and the results in several races could get interesting. Recent polls have shown Democrats with the lead in several key Congressional races, but UW political scientist David Canon says there could still be some unexpected results. Canon says several double digit leads have shrunk in the past week and he doubts Democrats will achieve the landslide projected just a week ago.

Tight polls in the race for Governor and Attorney General may leave those races up in the air as well. Canon says those will likely come down to voter turnout, and if it lives up to projections of 50%. Also, Canon says on of the biggest factors in an attempt for Democrats to reclaim Congress will be the impact of heavy Republican spending in the final days of the campaign.
