A Nelsonville man is jailed in the deaths of his girlfriend and two children.
Portage County sheriff's deputies found three people dead in the home during a welfare check Thursday morning.
They also found 36-year-old Shane Kettner and a semi-conscious baby girl on the first floor lying near a gun. Kettner, the baby and a deputy were taken to the hospital after they were overcome by gasoline fumes.
Kettner has been released and is in jail pending a bond hearing Monday on three counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
Sheriff John Charewicz won't say how the three died but says it was violent and may have been caused by a domestic dispute.
