NFL Hall of Famers Cris Carter and Michael Irvin chose sides on Wednesday night for Sunday’s NFL Pro Bowl game.
The NFL scrapped its NFC vs. AFC format and went to the current system a year ago. The game is being played in Glendale, Arizona, which is the site of next weeks Super bowl.
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews and wide receiver Randall Cobb were each selected to Michael Irvin’s team. Jordy Nelson, Josh Sitton, John Kuhn and Sam Shields were selected by Cris Carter.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers pulled out of the game this weekend because of his calf injury.
