POLICEfileThe names of men caught in a Wausau prostitution sting have been released, and they include that of Wausau elementary school teacher. The men, who responded to an on-line solicitation placed by police, are identified as 42-year-old Christopher Barr of Wausau, 45-year-old Thomas Collins of Edgar, 55-year-old Dale Cebula of Mosinee, 70-year-old John Waterman of Wisconsin Dells, 21-year-old Michael Yeng Her of Weston, 22-year-old Pa Nhia Hang of St. Paul, and 36-year-old Aaron Kottke of Wausau.

The citation for soliciting a prostitute will cost them $2,000, but in the case of Kottke, it has also damaged his career. Kottke resigned from his position as a 5th grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School in Wausau after he was ensnared by the police sting. School district officials said they have no information showing Kottke ever caused any harm to students. His resgination will be taken up at Monday’s school board meeting.
