Following the Green Bay Packers 27-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lambeau Field, coach Mike McCarthy said he needed to fix a “recurring” issue but didn’t go into detail.

Monday, McCarthy said he was referring to the Packers’ weekly problems in the fourth quarter.

Even when the Packers were winning four-straight games, they suffered through 4th quarter lapses.  The last two weeks, those lapses didn’t give the Packers a chance to make a late comeback.

Chicago put together an 18-play drive that ate up 8:58 of the fourth quarter.  Then on Sunday, the Eagles closed out the game with a 15-play drive that ate up the final 9:32.

McCarthy said poor tackling was a big part of the problem.
