Mike McCarthy to take the play-calling back against the Cowboys today. At this point, it’s not about whether or not Tom Clements was or wasn’t doing a good job. It’s the fact that this is December. There’s four games left in the regular season and the coach has to shake things up to get the offense going. The Packers need to be playing their best ball in December and moving into the playoffs. McCarthy is trying to get them there. It’s a great call. Probably should have happened a week or two ago. Now, if the offense doesn’t pick things up with the head coach resuming play-calling duties, then you can plan on watching a different NFC team in the Super Bowl.
