Several Wisconsin taxpayers are missing out on their stimulus payments.
Nearly 2,600 stimulus checks sent out to Wisconsin residents have been returned to the IRS as undeliverable. Spokesman Christopher Miller says that amounts to nearly $1.4 million, with an average check value of $527.
Miller says nearly a thousand regular refund checks have also been returned.
A full list of individuals whose checks were undeliverable has been released by the IRS.
In most cases, claiming one of those checks requires that you simply update your address with the IRS.
Miller says you need to update your information by November 28, 2008. By law, checks must be mailed by December 31st.
