The Milwaukee Brewers have released relief pitcher David Riske.  Riske is coming off of Tommy John surgery and pitched in 23 games since rejoining the team on June 8.  He was 0-0 with a 5.01 ERA.

Riske originally signed with the Brewers as a free agent prior to the 2008 season, but never lived up to the guaranteed $13-million, 3-year deal.
