The NFL is reviewing Koren Robinson's petition for reinstatement, according to league spokesman Greg Aiello, but no date has been set for the final ruling.

Robinson would be eligible for re-instatement at the earliest date of October 17.

Packers quarterback Brett Favre has spoken with Robinson on a couple of occasions.  Favre said Robinson told him he was looking forward to meeting face to face with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week.  League officials say that meeting isn't necessary though to get reinstated.

If Robinson does get reinstated next Wednesday, the NFL would likely give the Packers a roster exemption, allowing Robinson to practice for a designated amount of time without counting against the 53-man roster until he's activated for a game.
