For the second-straight season and fourth time overall, the UW-Stevens Point men’s hockey team lost the NCAA D-3 Hockey National Championship game.  The Pointers fell to Trinity (Conn.) 5-2 on Saturday night at Ridder Arena on Minneapolis.

Kyle Brodie and Nick D’Avolio scored goals for the Pointers in the loss.

The Pointers had a 37-24 shot advantage and the game was tied 2-2 in the third before Trinity pulled away.
