UW-Milwaukee men's basketball coach Rob Jeter and University of Miami coach Frank Haith have both been selected by USA Basketball to assist Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan with the USA Under-23 team for this summer's World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia.
The U.S. will look to capture the gold medal at the 24th World University Games July 2-12. The Americans have earned 13 gold medals in 18 World University Games appearances.
Training camp to select the USA Team will be held June 16-25 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Marquette's Lazar Hayward is one of the players trying to land a spot on the team.
Rob Jeter played for Bo Ryan at UW-Platteville where he captained a Pioneer squad that captured the 1991 NCAA Division III title and finished with a 28-3 record.
