The Brewers have acquired 2007 Cy Young Award winner CC Sabathia.
The deal will officially be announced later today, but reports say that Milwaukee gets the lefty in exchange for top minor league prospect Matt LaPorta, and minor league pitchers Zach Jackson and Rob Bryson. A player to be named later will also go to the Tribe.
Sabathia will be a free agent at the end of the year and most likley will not resign with the Brewers who are trying to end their 26-year-playoff drought.
The lefty will make his Brewers debut on Tuesday night against Colorado.
