A member of Congress says he’s “outraged” by an immigration policy change from the president. President Barack Obama made the announcement at the White House, calling it a move “to lift the shadow of deportation” from young people brought here by their parents. “Over the next few months, eligible individuals who do not present a risk to national security or public safety will be able to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings and apply for work authorization.”

AUDIO: Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (4:35)

Wisconsin Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner says it wasn’t appropriate for Obama – who was questioned by a reporter for a conservative website – to not take questions. “This is a big deal,” says Sensenbrenner. “It’s deal that bascially overturns what has been settled law in this country for years. If you’re illegally here, you’re subject to deportation.”

The Wisconsin Republican says his reaction to the president’s announcement was one of “outrage.” He says Obama’s decision is not fair to unemployed Americans – the point made by “The Daily Caller’s” Neil Munro.
