For most of Ben Sheets career in Milwaukee, he's been tabbed the Brewers ace, but because of injuries, he's never lived up to that potential.  This season may be different.  The Brewers right hander went the distance for the 13th time in his career in last night's 6-2 win over the San Francisco Giants at Miller Park.

Sheets gave the bullpen a rare night off by tossing his second complete game of the season and improving to 8-3 on the year.  He also lowered his ERA to 3.19, which tops all Brewers starters.  He walked 1, struck out 4 and allowed just 6 hits all night.  It's also the 11th quality start in 15 outings for Sheets this season.

Prince Fielder drove in three runs and Ryan Braun scored twice.  The Brewers, who had lost 20 of 30, are now 6-1 since being no-hit by Justin Verlander a week ago in Detroit.

The Brewers and Giants close out their 3-game series with a day game at Miller Park today.
