Former Bucks first round draft pick Scott Skiles, was introduced on Monday as the 11th head coach in franchise history and the 4th in the last five years.
Skiles played only 13 games in his rookie season in Milwaukee and was traded by the Bucks to Indiana at seasons end. He ended up playing 10 seasons with five teams and has added head coaching stints in Phoenix and Chicago.
Skiles career head coaching record is 281-251. His teams have made the playoffs five times.
Skiles gets a 4-year contract that will pay him $18-million. He takes over a team that won only 26 games last season and his most difficult task will be getting the Bucks to play some defense, something they didn't do much of last season.
