State Street, Madison Just a day after the official start of Spring, much of southern Wisconsin is on the recieving end of yet another in what's been a seemingly endless series of heavy snowfalls. The National Weather Service predicts total accumulations from 8 to 15 inches across much of south central and southeast Wisconsin today and this evening. Heaviest accumulations are expected along and south of a line between Wisconsin Dells to Port Washington. The Wisconsin State Patrol advises travelers that brisk east to northeast winds and blowing and drifting snow will contribute to reduced visibilities and dangerous driving conditions. The heaviest snowfall amounts are expected along the Wisconsin-Illionois state line, with accumulations tapering off in the south Chicago suburbs and into northern Wisconsin.
