A Cedar Grove man, already convicted of stalking his neighbor, is back in custody after admitting to authorities he had far more sinister intentions. Thomas Schultz is now charged with two counts each of burglary and criminal trespass, along with theft, after a random search of his home by his parole officer turned up numerous disturbing items.
According to the criminal complaint filed Monday in Sheboygan County, Sheriff’s Detectives, assisting with the search, located a duffel bag that they described as being a rape kit. In that bag were such items as a stethoscope, gloves, handcuffs, leg restraints, duct tape, condoms, KY lubricant, a hunting knife and more.
When detectives questioned the 49-year-old about their discovery, Schultz graphically detailed his plan for raping the neighbor he had previously been convicted of stalking. He also admitted to entering the neighbor’s home more than previously confessed to.
In November, Schultz was sentenced to six months in jail for the stalking offense.
