Wisconsin's tourism industry wants you to “live like you mean it.”
Governor Jim Doyle says a new slogan and logo unveiled Monday morning in La Crosse reflects the state's branding message of Wisconsin originals. He says the state values original and creative thought, and spends its time in original ways.
The logo consists of “WISCONSIN,” in all caps and in an original type face. Atop Wisconsin is the silhouette of a person doing cartwheels. Beneath Wisconsin is the theme line “live like you mean it.”
Doyle says the new logo will primarily be used in tourism advertising and as a logo for the state. However, he says it can be a powerful tool for building business recruitment and other economic development efforts.
