Randolph native and former University of Wisconsin basketball player has agreed to a multi-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Stiemsma played in 55 regular season games last year with Boston, averaging 2.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Stiemsma says he enjoyed playing in Boston, but is excited to be joining a young team in Minnesota, closer to his childhood home in Wisconsin. Reports say the deal is worth over $2 million dollars per season. He is expected to come off the bench and spell starter Nikola Pekovic.
