Following the weekend tragedy which took the lives of both current and former students, classes have resumed in Crandon.
Superintendent Dr. Richard Peters said the day began this morning with a moment of silence. Students in younger grades took part in projects meant to help them deal with the tragedy. Older students had normal classes, but teachers were instructed on how to work with them to help begin the healing process.
Peters says the students have been a real comfort to each other.
Counseling services are being made available to students. Peters says student athletes have also decided that Thursday night's volleyball game and Friday night's football game will go forward as planned.
