A state lawmaker will seek re-election this fall despite an ongoing legal matter involving his ex-girlfriend. State Representative Scott Suder (R-Abbottsford) says he will run for a sixth term. Suder says top campaign issues include lower taxes and more jobs, which will be critical the next time the state faces a budget shortfall.
Suder says he won't let an ongoing scandal involving his ex-girlfriend get in the way. Lisa Brabazon of Wausau is charged with stealing more than $3,000 from him. Suder is opposed by Owen Mayor Tim Swiggum .
