Authorities have made a number of arrests connected to marijuana growing in Northeastern Wisconsin.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, over 200 federal, state, and local law enforcement officers carried out raids on locations connected to suspected marijuana grow operations in Oconto and Menominee Counties.

Officials have not said how many people were arrested, only indicating that several individuals suspected of involvement were taken into custody and they will face federal charges.

The investigation is ongoing and the case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s office.
