Don Nelson led the Milwaukee Bucks to seven straight playoff appearances and
540 wins overall. He compiled 1,335 victories in the NBA, more than any other NBA coach in 31 seasons.
The 72-year-old Nelson will be enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. tonight.
Nelson was named the NBA Coach of the Year three times, including twice with the Bucks (1983 & 1985).
In 1996, Nelson was named one of the top 10 coaches in league history by a panel of former players, coaches and executives.
