Bucks fall to Cavs, fall to 1-3 in exhibition play

October 15, 2014 By Bill Scott

Playing without Lebron James and Kyrie Irving, the Cleveland Cavaliers got 25 points from Kevin Love and 23 from Dion Waiters and knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks 106-100 in NBA exhibition play in Cleveland on Tuesday night.

Love made five 3-pointers and spent the fourth quarter on the Cavaliers bench, watching his teammates dispatch the Bucks.

Jabari Parker had 18 points and Jared Dudley 15 points (five 3-pointers) to lead the Bucks, who fell to 1-3 in exhibition play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo started the game at point guard for the Bucks.  He missed all five of his shots from the field, scoring four points with no assists in 23 minutes, playing the point during most of his time on the floor.

The Bucks return to the court with a road game at Minnesota on Friday night.

Bucks swing deal with Clippers

August 27, 2014 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks sent veteran forward Carlos Delfino and backup center Miroslav Raduljica to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday in exchange for small forward Jared Dudley and a 2017 first round draft pick.

The Bucks also part with a 2015 second-round draft pick.

Delfino signed a 2-year, $6.5-million deal prior to last season but didn’t play at all due to a right foot injury and required a second surgery.  He could miss all of next season as well.

Dudley played last season for the Clippers after a productive stretch from 2008-13 with the Phoenix Suns.  He averaged 6.9 points in 74 games for the Clippers last season, including 43 starts.

Dudley has two years left on his current contract.

Bucks signing

The Bucks also announced the signing of second-round pick Damien Inglis.

The 6’8 forward signed a three-year deal with a team option.  Inglis was the first pick in the second round, 31st overall.
