When the Green Bay Packers selected Jermichael Finley in the 3rd round of the
2008 draft, he was plenty talented, but he had a lot of growing up to do.
Entering his 6th NFL season, Finley ranks No. 3 in franchise history for the most career receiving yards by a tight end with 2,485 yards and 4th in team history for most receptions by a tight end (198). He needs just 110 yards to move past No. 2 Ron Kramer (2,594) and five catches to move past No. 3 Ed West (202).
His work ethic has never come into question. His immaturity has.
Finley has struggled to be on the same page as his quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He’s called out the former MVP on occasion and has never been shy about letting his opinion be known.
