The Wisconsin Badger men’s hockey team (4-24-5, 2-14-3-2 Big Ten) rebounded from a pair of one goal deficits in the third period to tie Ohio State (12-18-3, 7-11-1-1 Big Ten) on Friday night at the Kohl Center.
The Buckeyes earned the extra point in the standings by winning a 10-round shootout.
Senior Brad Navin scored both Wisconsin goals, one of them coming on the power play. Senior Joe LaBate assisted on both.
Senior Landon Peterson got a rare start in goal for the Badgers. He made 32 saves in his final home game for the Badgers. Fellow senior Joel Rumpel will start the final home game of the season tonight.
In the shootout, Morgan Zullinick, Joe LaBate and Cameron Hughes scored for the Badgers.
