The numbers just keep getting worse for the Milwaukee Brewers, who watched their loss total rise to ten in the season’s first dozen games after Sunday’s 5-2 setback to the Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
Matt Garza (1-2) took the loss, allowing all five runs on seven hits during his six innings of work. The righthander’s ERA is now 5.40.
The 2-10 start is not only the worst in franchise history, it also means Milwaukee has the worst record in the majors by a half game (Miami is 3-10). They currently sit three games behind the Reds in the Central Division, and 6.5 games back of frontrunning St. Louis. [Read more…]
