Wisconsin’s Jordan Taylor was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the first

Taylor helped the 13th ranked Badgers rebound from 15-points down to knock off top ranked and previously unbeaten Ohio State 71-67 on Saturday at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Taylor averaged 21.5 points, 4 rebounds and 7.5 assists in wins over Iowa and Ohio State last week.  He led all scorers with 27 points in the win over the Buckeyes. 

During Wisconsin’s 30-8 run in the second half, Taylor scored or assisted 26 of those points by scoring 18 himself and using three assists to add another eight points. 

This is the third Player of the Week honor for a Wisconsin player this season. Jon Leuer had captured the honor twice.
