Jordan Taylor scored 27 points to earn his first college win in his home state,
helping the Badgers beat the Minnesota Gophers 68-61 in overtime on Thursday night at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
The Badgers (19-6, 8-4 Big Ten) let a 13-point second half lead get away. They failed to score for the final 7+ minutes of the second half and watched as Minnesota tied things up and forced overtime.

Ryan Evans added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Badgers. The win allowed the Badgers to move into a 3rd place tie with Michigan. Both teams trail second place Michigan State by just 1/2 game. They’re 1 1/2 games behind first-place Ohio State.
The Badgers are off until next Thursday when they travel to East Lansing to face the Michigan State Spartans.
