Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura spoke to thousands at Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis. An event is not affiliated with the RNC but was calling on the GOP to return to it's roots of limited government. Ventura took questions from reporters while having a sharp tongue toward the press. He accused the media of being "owned and paid for" by the two political parties. He called the general public "lemmings" that do what the media tells them.

The former pro-wrestler and actor says the media can improve by taking lesser and third party candidates seriously, as well as giving them equal time.

The event's crowd was chock full of so-called 9/11 truthers, people who believe the US government either corroborated or covered up events surrounding September 11. When asked about his opinion on the matter, he recalled his experience as a Navy Underwater Demolitions Team member.

"I spoke to a few of my teammates and were all in agreement that buildings can't fall at the rate of gravity without being assisted."

Ventura admits he does not know what really happened that day but believes the government is not telling the truth.
