We are what we watch, politically speaking. A new study from the Midwest Foundation for Media Research looked at media consumption in the region. It offer some interesting findings on what we tend to watch on the tube, whether we lean Republican or Democrat.
For Democrats, networks such as Lifetime, CNN, MSNBC, Comedy Central, and Bravo are the most common channels. For Republicans, it’s ESPN, the Golf Channel, Fox News, Country Music Television, and the History Channel.
Republicans also tend to use the radio and internet more for news and information, while the study finds Democrats cling to television and newspapers.
