The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Atlanta Braves 3-2 last night, but rookie pitcher Tyler Thornburg was solid in his final start of the season.

Thornburg pitched a season high 7-innings and struck out a career high eight, giving the Brewers another strong outing to consider when deciding who will make up the starting rotation in 2014.

Thornburg finished the season with a 3-1 record and 2.04 ERA, striking out 38 over 66 2/3 innings.
