The City-County Government Center in Fond du Lac went into lockdown Monday morning when a Clerk of Courts employee phoned in a threat. Fond du Lac County Executive Al Buechel says the Fond du Lac woman threatened to do bodily harm to the Clerk and other employees. Police say she threatened to get a gun, go back and kill all the people who have hurt her in the past. They took the woman into custody at her home without incident. Police Major Kevin Lemke says although the woman threatened to use a gun she didn't have access to one.  The woman was being mentally evaluated as authorities tried to determine whether to bring charges. Buechel says they were a bit stunned when they heard about the threat. He called it "somewhat surprising." He says they will assess their own response to the threat, which was received around 9 a.m.  [KFIZ's Bob Nelson submitted this story]
