Four seasons ago, Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd was selected as a reserve for the 2004 NBA All-Star Game. After being edged out of the NBA's mid-season classic for the past three seasons, the 8th-year pro is once again making a strong case for his second career All-Star selection. Through 21 games, Redd is averaging 24.1 points and career-highs in rebounds (5.5) and assists (3.6). He's also shooting a career best 89.3% from the free throw line.
Redd is currently 7th among Eastern Conference guards.
He is joined on the All-Star leaderboard by two of his teammates. Rookie Ji Jianlian ranks 5th among Eastern Conference forwards, while center Andrew Bogut is 6th among Eastern Conference Centers.
The Bucks have not an an All-Star since Redd's 2004 appearance.
