St. Norbert College logoThe St. Norbert College men’s hockey team will head into the semester break with an 11-game unbeaten streak with a 4-1 win and a weekend sweep of St. Thomas on Saturday.

The Green Knights (11-1-1) are 10-0-1 in their last eleven games.  St. Thomas dropped to 7-4-2.

Michael Hill gave St. Norbert the early lead, scoring a power-play goal at 9:03 of the first period.

Riley Christiansen’s goal 13 minutes into the second period made it 2-0 Green Knights.

T he Tommies responded with their only goal at 15:05, but Christensen would score his second goal of the game just 18-seconds later to make it 3-1.  Roman Uchyn added an empty-net goal with 36 seconds remaining, his eighth of the season.

Tony Kujava got the win in goal, making 23 saves for the Knights.
