Believing is their best move right now, the Menominee Indian Tribe has formally asked the federal government to temporarily suspend their application for a casino at the site of Kenosha's dog track.
Project director Eric Olsen says that, with the White House changing hands in a few months, there was a chance the current U.S. Interior Secretary could simply reject their application on his way out the door.
Olsen says if their delay request is rejected, and the application denied, they'll simply re-apply under the next administration.
Olsen says they've been told they have the most complete and the most compelling of the remaining applications left to decide.
