Green Bay Packers defensive back Brandon Underwood will miss some time
after suffering a knee sprain in Saturday’s Family Night Scrimmage at Lambeau Field.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday night that Underwood would be out for at least a couple of weeks.
McCarthy also said kicker Mason Crosby suffered an ankle sprain and will take it easy for a couple of days. The Packers are hoping Crosby will still be able to kick in the pre-season opener at Cleveland on Saturday.
McCarthy wasn’t happy with Monday night’s workout, which was moved inside the Don Hutson Center due to rain. McCarthy said there were too many mistakes, assignment errors and running back fumbles. The poor play started about halfway through practice and got progressively worse.
