A woman killed in a Kenosha tavern last weekend was an innocent victim, according to the criminal complaint against a man also facing felony charges in neighboring Racine County.
Terriana Cecil, 31, of Gurnee died when the charging document says 24- year-old M-L Dale returned to the bar and fired shots toward two men he and some friends had gotten into a confrontation with earlier about a shooting incident seven years ago. The intended targets hit the floor as bullets started flying, one killing Cecil.
Intentional homicide, attempted homicide and gun possession by a convicted felon have Dale behind bars in Kenosha on $500,000 bond. He’s also scheduled for trial in Racine County next month on reckless endangerment and heroin delivery charges.
